At the heart of Camp Victory are the dedicated volunteers. Their efforst help to educate the community about the issues of child sexual abuse.

Training is provided yearly to all adult volunteer applicants. Adults are carefullly screened, including a thourough background security check.

Training and aommunity education focus on prevention, intervention, causative factors and other issues related to child sexual abuse.

Adults who sucessfully complete the training and participate in Camp are known as "Mama Lions". At Camp Victory adults are known as "Big Buddies" and girls are known as "Little Buddies". "BITS" (Buddies in training) are former Little Buddies who are not yet ready to be Big Buddies.
